JDE Technology Solution Assessment
Change is inevitable.

Even with systems that seem to be running well today, subtle changes can lead to performance or stability issues.  To minimize the impact of change, you need to keep your knowledge of your system as current as possible.  When things change, you need a point of reference to which you can return.  The GSI Technology Solution Assessment (TSA) will provide you with that point-in-time snapshot.

The TSA takes a deep dive into your current JDE configuration to identify areas for improvement as well as to validate the system against published minimum technical requirements and best practices learned from our years of direct experience.

Nothing is changed on your system.  The TSA is strictly a data-gathering activity driving a detailed technical report that can be used as a point-in-time snapshot of the system.  This report becomes the baseline documentation for the system and your reference point for any change either planned or not.

Use your TSA as a baseline for:

    * Performance Tuning

    * Upgrade Preparation

    * System Documentation

GSI ’s Technology Solution Assessment includes:

    * Review of every piece of equipment in your JDE system

    * Comparison of all JDE equipment to published Minimum Technical Requirements (MTRs)

    * Analysis of your CNC configuration including:

          o Environments and Pathcodes

          o Object Management Workbench

          o Object Configuration Management mappings

          o Security Configuration

          o Package Management

          o Batch processing configuration

          o Support procedures

    * Documentation of all the above, including recommendations for improvement

    * Review of the findings with your IT team and planning for next steps
